Have a great Memorial Day weekend, everyone! I hope the sun comes out with 75+ degree weather for all of us. I am getting away for a relaxing weekend in San Juan Island--one of the many places in the PNW that I've always wanted to go but still haven't gone yet.

I am also finally back from my hiatus after a week-long vacation with my girlfriends in Cancun (photos from the trip above + some more photos on Flickr (captured by myself and friends), my move the following week and birthday festivities the week after that. May has been such a crazy, hectic month so far this year. I have been slowly trying to wrap my head around the new place and settling in before getting back into noodlenthread.

I have a couple new projects to work on soon, which I am super excited about and cannot wait to show them once they're ready. Things will probably continue to be very busy for me from now on until the end of summer, but I am still looking forward to it.

Sometimes there are setbacks, tough days and even big losses. But for the most part, I do feel blessed for everything that I have in my life now. What I lack compared to others, I believe I do gain in other things. And it is wonderful to feel optimistic and inspired again.
